Corporate Social Responsibility

BCF's members are strong contributors to their individual local communities, not just economies, and support many charitable works. However, BCF wants to do its bit at a trade association level, too, engaging directly with third-sector organisations. We support the Community Heartbeat Trust's Minutes Matter campaign, both practically by supplying paint, and by raising funds. We also work closely with Two Sides to help ensure the print and paper sector is as sustainable as possible. You can read more about the two charities and our relationships with them below.

The British Coatings Federation is in partnership with the Community Heartbeat Trust and  BT to promote the installation of defibrillators in BT phone boxes across the UK.

There are thousands of BT phone boxes in the UK sitting idle, and by having a defibrillator installed, they could be helping save lives instead.
