The Coatings Careers Hub is brought to you by the British Coatings Federation (BCF), the UK’s trade association representing the interests of the decorative, industrial and powder coatings, printing inks and wallcovering manufacturers. The hub brings together career opportunities at member companies of the BCF which includes permanent and temporary vacancies, sandwich and summer placements for students, graduate schemes, and apprenticeships.

How to use the Careers Hub: Employers & Applicants

Who can submit listings for the Careers Hub?

Employers, industry organisations, and educational institutions involved in the coatings industry can submit listings. These may include job openings, training programmes, apprenticeships, and other career-related opportunities.

Posting on the Careers Hub is a free benefit to BCF members and can be done via your BCF member profile under the ‘Jobs’ tab.

How do I apply for roles advertised on the Careers Hub?

Each listing will have specific application instructions. Typically, you can apply directly through the provided contact information or link. Make sure to review the requirements and submit all requested documents, such as a CV and cover letter.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great career option that allow you to get your foot in the door at a coatings company while continuing your studies and education. Many coatings companies are actively seeking apprentices and with the apprenticeship levy now implemented in the UK there are more opportunities than ever before.
