On Friday 14th March 2025, BCF are hosting the second 'Road to Net Zero' Seminar at The Slate, Warwick Conferences. Scope 3 carbon emissions are any emissions that a company or organisation does not have direct control of and can include emissions upstream and downstream within the supply chain.

A staggering 80% of an average company’s carbon footprint is produced by scope 3 emissions and this is likely to be even higher for many in the coatings sector. The focus will continue to be on scope 3, this time considering emissions both up and down the value chain of our manufacturing members to further support our industry towards Net Zero. The Seminar will also look at low carbon hydrogen, exploring the next steps for the hydrogen industry in the UK and the benefits/challenges for manufacturers like our members.
