As the UK trade association representing the manufacturers of paints, coatings, printing inks and wallcoverings, we are not able to recommend a certain product.  We advise that you use the Search function above to enter in the type of product you’re looking for, eg anti-slip, anti-corrosive, aluminium, metallic finishes, and then click on the member page results for contact details.

You can find a list of powder coating manufacturers here.  If you have a problem with a powder coating, we suggest you contact PRA World and/or Vortex Coatings - details on our Independent Assessment and Testing contacts web page. This link will also provide details if you’re looking for a coating to be tested or an expert to visit.

Complaints

As the UK trade association representing the manufacturers of paints, coatings, printing inks and wallcoverings, we cannot get involved in a complaint against one of our members or their products.  In the first instance, we would advise you to make contact with the manufacturer concerned (see link above for a list of members which provides contact details).  If that doesn’t resolve your complaint, you can email details to info@bcf.co.uk (please do not telephone the office as the detail is required in writing).  We will take a look at the complaint and we may forward that complaint on to the member concerned.
