BCF are hosting a EU CLP Amendment Webinar on Thursday 16th January 2025 from 10:00.

The EU CLP Amendment was published in the Official Journal in November and entered into force on 10th December 2024. The amendment to the legislative text has been discussed at a number of BCF Technical Meetings and within Digest.  As the final text has now been published, BCF will be holding a webinar on the CLP Amendments and the New Hazard Classes on 16th January 2025 from 10 am – 12 pm.  The amendments include topics discussed at the technical meetings.  The changes in the amendment include:

  • Clarification of the rules for classification of mixtures and also for substances with more than one constituent
  • Changes to the rules for labelling hazardous chemicals, including font size requirements, wider use of fold out labels and introduction of digital labels
  • Clarifies the role of distributors for poison centre notifications

The webinar will be held via Microsoft Teams. Please click on 'register' above to confirm your attendance and you will be sent the joining instructions via email.
